Thank you for your interest in Caring Kids Adopt-A-Family Christmas program. The way it works is simple, families with one or two children in need are adopted by Caring Kids and its supporters by purchasing needed items of the child/children adopted followed by a few "wish list" items of the same. There is a Christmas luncheon sponsored by Caring Kids where adopters, adoptee and children come together to dine over lunch and enjoy each others' company for the day, which is when all gifts are delivered to the adopted family. You may choose to wrap all gifts or bring them in black garbage bags with wrapping paper and tape for the parent/guardian to wrap.
All deserving families are screened to ensure they are in need of assistance before adoption selection. An e-mail is sent to those adopting through the ministry with a profile of a family to be considered for adoption. You would need to e-mail a request to adopt a family with us, and provide a telephone number where you can be reached, indicating the number of children you wish to adopt; we will do all we can to accommodate your request. You will receive a Christmas luncheon flyer after requesting an adoption. We ask that each adopter give one wrapped gift to the child/children adopted to be given and opened at the appointed time on luncheon day.
We ask that two representatives from your company, department, sports team, etc. plan to be in attendance at the luncheon to meet with the family you have agreed to adopt for Christmas. Your company will receive a photo of the child/children adopted and a plaque from Caring Kids Youth Ministry as a "thank you" for adopting with our organization. If this sounds like something you, your co-workers, your sports team, and others would like to participate in, please reply to this message with your request. We would love to have you and yours join our family this holiday season, please e-mail us to let Caring Kids know of your intent.
